Wrap a moustache around your finger to make a really fun piece of jewelry from shrinky dink plastic!

Pre Heat the oven!
Your shrink plastic will have instructions on what temperature to heat to.

draw your moustache on a scrap piece of paper using a dark marker. The size should be 3x larger than you want your finished piece to be.

lay a sheet of shrinky dink plastic over your drawing and trace. Use a permanent marker, or paint pen.

lay your cut out moustache on a scrap of paper, on a cookie sheet. put in oven!

this is the best part, watching the shrinky dink shrink up! It curls up into this small little ball, and just when you think it's a lost cause, it pops back out nice and flat. Wait until shrinky dink is flat again, it only takes about 20-30 seconds, then remove from oven.

Now quickly pick up moustache off of paper and wrap loosely around a your finger. BE CAREFUL ITS HOT! But don't wait too long, the plastic will cool and snap. You could also wrap the moustache around a marker approximately the same size as your finger.

you can buy it at most craft stores. I got mine at Michael's. It's Shrinky Dink brand, just like back in the day!
