Make a rich dessert the easy way with pecan turtle tarts
Materials
- 35-40 premade tart shells,
- 1 cup whole pecans,
- 2 cups pecan pieces,
- 1oz sweetened condensed milk,
- 1c brown sugar,
- 1c margarine,
- 4tbsp corn syrup,
- 1tsp vanilla,
- 35-40 chocolate wafers

Once the margarine is fully melted, add the brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, corn syrup and vanilla. Bring to a boil, whisking occasionally for 2 minutes. Take off heat or turn the heat to low.

After the shells are baked, fill the bottoms with pecan pieces. Place a chocolate wafer on top of the pecan pieces.

Put a whole pecan on top of each tart and let cool. You can store these in the freezer, but they are tastiest when served at room temperature. Enjoy!
